Not for the faint-hearted, welcome to the Canteen. We are a busy, sometimes noisy, lively, always welcoming restaurant for lovers of vegetarian and regular cuisine.

We like to change our menus regularly and aim to bring you the tastiest flavours from around the world, using only the freshest ingredients to create dishes that are not only unique but also delicious.

Our aim is to serve high quality food at value for money prices. All of our cooked meals can be adjusted to meet your tastes, whether you like your food mild or hot, with onions and garlic or without.
Most dishes we prepare are suitable for vegans and we cater for diabetics, coeliacs and those with other special dietary requirements.

The people behind the Canteen On Clifton Street may have been lacking inspiration during the naming brainstorm, but they more than make up for their literal leanings with the city's best new veggie and vegan eat out.
